Normally dry, it means your dry riser system can easily be connected to the water supply to provide water throughout the building to tackle flames. Suitable for installation in either the vertical or horizontal position, it comes complete with caps and chains too.

Manufactured for Vigil Products, our standard inlet breeching valve has 2x 2½” instantaneous male non-return valve inlets, fits standard UK fire brigade (BS336-type) connections, a 100mm PN16 or Table D/E outlet flange and a 1” drain valve. This inlet breeching valve is constructed of cast ion with copper alloy inlet, which is extremely durable, and has a working pressure of 10 bar and tested to a pressure of 20 bar.

Do I Need A PN16 or Table D/E Flange Fitting?

There is a really easy way of telling the difference between PN16 flanges and Table D/E flanges for inlet breeching valves. PN16 have 8 bolt holes around the flange, while Table D/E only have 4 holes, so take note of the outlet you'll be fitting this to in order to figure our which version you need.
