The female cap and chain for inlet breeching valve is a plastic cap which is designed to keep dirt and rubbish out of vital dry riser equipment so it’s always ready to go in a fire emergency. With a retainer chain to ensure it doesn’t get lost when removed, it’s for use on 2 ½" (64mm) inlet breeching valves.
