Make every car journey safer with Lifehammers, a unique and reliable tool for effortlessly breaking through windows and screens, including cutting through seatbelts. Designed with an ergonomic handle and crafted in a compact size, these tools support drivers during a road crisis, assisting with swift escapes from all types of vehicles.

What are the Benefits of Lifehammers?

Easy to use and store, Lifehammers feature a carbon steel or ceramic hammerhead that quickly shatters car windows to allow for a quick escape, keeping drivers and passengers safe from road incidents, vehicle entrapment, and submersion.

Suitable for all types of vehicles, upgrade your road safety strategy and keep equipped with a lifehammer on board. Each tool can be safely stored within door or glove compartments, making them ready to use whenever you need them!

Will a lifehammer break a laminated windscreen?

No. Lifehammers are designed to shatter tempered side and rear windows, which are made to break into small, relatively safe fragments. Laminated windscreens - which are bonded with a plastic interlayer - will not shatter in the same way and cannot be broken with a lifehammer. If you need to escape from a vehicle, always aim for a side or rear window rather than the windscreen.

Where should I store an emergency hammer in my vehicle for fastest access in an emergency?

The most accessible location is within the driver's door pocket or attached to the side of the driver's seat - somewhere reachable without having to lean across the vehicle or search in a glove compartment. Some emergency hammer models include a mounting bracket for ease of access - check the individual product for this feature.
