How do I choose the right fire safety pack for my premises or situation?

If you're unsure which pack fits your situation, your fire risk assessment should identify the types and quantities of extinguisher your premises requires, which makes it straightforward to match to the right bundle. Do these packs meet UK fire safety regulations and insurance requirements?
Yes, when correctly specified for your premises. The packs are assembled from products that meet current UK fire safety standards. To satisfy insurance requirements, fire extinguishers should be commissioned - this confirms they are fully operational and in accordance with BS5306 Part 3. We offer on-site commissioning as an add-on to your order, and you'll receive a certificate as proof of compliance to show your insurer.
What is fire extinguisher commissioning and do I need it?
Commissioning is the process of formally bringing a new fire extinguisher into service - checking the unit is correctly pressurised, undamaged, and properly installed in accordance with BS5306 Part 3. It's carried out by a competent person and produces a certificate confirming compliance. Most insurers and fire safety inspectors expect to see evidence that extinguishers have been commissioned, so if you own commercial premises or you're a landlord, then yes, you need it. It's available as an add-on when you order with us.
Can I get a custom pack if none of the bundles quite match my needs?
Yes. If the standard range doesn't precisely fit your requirements, contact us directly by phone or email and we'll put together a bespoke bundle for you.
Do these safety packs come with the necessary wall brackets or mounting hardware?
This varies by pack - some include brackets and some don't. Check the individual product page for what's included in each bundle.
