Do I Need Anti-Fatigue Mats?

If people are on their feet all day on a hard, perhaps stood at a workstation, production line or kitchen, then anti-fatigue mats are highly advised to improve the health and safety of workers. By providing a comfortable standing surface, you help to prevent fatigue and the resulting aches, pains and stiffness often found in their feet, legs and lower back.

When it comes to making a decision on what you require, then it needs to be suitable for the environment, work being carried out, and the people using it.

Available with bevelled edges and yellow awareness boarders, trips are prevented, and choosing a hard-wearing nitrile rubber mat will withstand the tough demands of heavy traffic flow.

In a wet and/or greasy environment, such as kitchens and wash areas, then the anti-fatigue mat you choose should be suitable for wet work. Generally, this means the mat is able to drain away liquids from the surface and improves grip to prevent accidental slips.
