Heavy duty fire hose type 3

Type 3 fire fighting hose is made from a woven textile, but unlike Type 2, which is just outer-coated, this hose is encased in rubber nitrile that stops kinking, helps flow rates, is resistant to oil and most chemicals and does not need drying. Our lay-flat fire hose meets the UK Home Office Specification JCDD 1/1. 

If you are likely to use the hose quite often, you need Type 3. The outer surface is ribbed and will survive the rigours of being run across rough ground. It is also easy to repair.
