Designed in line with HSE Guide HSG51 and DSEAR 2002 standards, this storage cabinet is built from strong 18-gauge (1mm) welded steel double walls. These purpose-built cabinets for storing flammable liquids are fortified with an extra 38mm of insulating air space, greatly enhancing their resistance to potential fire hazards.

To enhance content protection, the U-Loc handle comes with a cylinder lock and key set, designed to fit padlocks for added security. Each cabinet features a versatile galvanized steel shelf that can be adjusted within 76mm (3”) intervals. This design effectively directs spills towards the back and base, channeling them into a sealed and leak-proof 51mm bottom sump.

The safety cabinets are equipped with high-performance self-latching doors, ensuring both easy operation and secure closure. The reliable fail-safe closing mechanism maintains the effectiveness of the integrated three-point stainless steel bullet latching system in these Sure-Grip EX Safety Cabinets for Flammables, ensuring consistent and dependable performance. For greater adaptability, the option of self-closing doors is available; these doors automatically engage and secure as the ambient temperature reaches 74℃. In case of a fire, the fusible link within the doors melts, triggering this automatic response.

Each yellow safety cabinet features dual vents with flame arresters, four adjustable self-leveling feet, grounding connectors, and a powder-coat finish that offers excellent chemical resistance. Additionally, the reflective warning labels are easy to spot in different conditions, clearly indicating 'FLAMMABLE – KEEP FIRE AWAY'.

All Sure-Grip EX Safety Cabinets for Flammables include a ten-year manufacturer’s warranty and FM approval. The dimensions of the extra-large flammable liquid cabinet are 1651mm H x 1092mm W x 864mm D, with internal measurements of 1537mm H x 1003mm W x 771mm D.

This safety cabinet has undergone a 10-minute fire test at temperatures up to 1,300°C, providing more time for safe evacuation. Moreover, during fire tests, the internal temperature remains below the auto-ignition temperature for the majority of flammable liquids. Overall, it either surpasses or meets the UK requirements of DSEAR 2002, COSHH, HSG51, and HSG140.
