This standalone unit is easy to install on a fire door, providing a reliable method to keep it open. It will automatically release the door if the fire alarm sounds at over 80dB for more than 15 seconds. The unit requires no wiring or special installation skills and can often be installed using the same footprint as older units. Powered by two Alkaline C batteries, it offers a long operational life and features a low battery indicator to ensure continuous reliability.
