The sign attaches to the wall at both ends and juts out into a hallway or corridor to give ideal viewing from both directions. The sign is very hard to miss with this feature and should be placed in every fire point area in a building. 

Fixing requires anything as simple as sticky pads, 'No-nails' type adhesive or double-sided tape.
