With a 30-metre length per hank, the orange twine is a popular choice with surveyors, landscapers, and bricklayers to provide a straight line in outdoor environments, with a high visibility colour that’s hard to miss.

Manufactured by Ultratwine, the 3mm surveyor’s road line is best used with ground pegs or steel barrier fencing pins when staking out reference points and markers of new structures. Also known as a brick line, mason’s line, builder’s line, brick twine, and surveyors’ line, whatever you call them, the heavy gauge ranging line is tough and durable for outdoor environments.
