Fire Rated Board (PFP)
The fire-rated board is simple and very quick to install to provide up to four hours of fire and smoke protection. Replacing the popular fire batts as a better-performing alternative, it's perfect for openings in fire-rated walls and floors where they're formed to allow the installation of multiple building services, it also maintains sound insulation with a sound reduction of up to 55 decibels.

Free 90 Day ReturnsAvailable in two sizes of thickness, the 60mm and 50mm intumescent board is permanently flexible which is perfect for accommodating movements during a fire and smaller movements in the construction. Each fire-rated board needs to be installed with intumescent acrylic sealant around the edges (sold separately).
Suitable for use in unlimited lengths in walls with heights of up to 1200mm and in floors with widths up to 800mm. Each measuring 600 x 1200mm, the PFP FR board consists of a high-density stone wool core it's over-coated with fire board coating which prevents the passage of hot gasses to reduce heat conduction.
Halogen-free with added fungicides, once fully cured the board resists UV, humidity and frost, the fire-resistant batts can simply be cut down to size to fit the aperture. CE certified, the fire-resistant boards are independently tested according to EN ISO 10140-2:2010. Best installed using PFP acrylic mastic, raw edges should also be coated with the fire board coating which can also be used to create a smooth surface.
