Apollo Series 65 Heat BR Detector

The Apollo Heat BR Detector 65 Series uses a duel thermistor network to monitor the temperature. With a thermistor exposed and the other insulated, resistance will drop in the exposed one. When this happens by a certain amount, it will trigger the alarm.

This is suitable for where a smoke detector isn’t possible. Such areas where this rate-of-rise heat detector could get placed include dusty or smoky conditions.

Installing detectors with a range of different sensor types will ensure you have all-round protection. Plus, by having a similar external design as Apollo Smoke Detectors, you won’t sacrifice aesthetics.
