AOV Smoke Ventilation Control Panel

Its primary purpose is to automatically prevent the accumulation of smoke, ensuring clear emergency exits during a fire. This system operates through an Automatic Opening Vent (AOV) mechanism, which includes vents, windows, and roof lights.

The integrated PSU version offers three different options for amperage - 3, 5, and 10 amps - to accommodate various load sizes, ranging from small to medium and larger loads. The control panel provides a simple and user-friendly interface to manage your smoke ventilation system, and it also includes a battery backup capability. You have the choice of purchasing the panel with or without the 2 x 12Ah 12v VRLA batteries (for the 10A version, 2 x 17Ah 12v VRLA batteries are required). These batteries ensure that the actuators and detectors can continue to operate even in the event of a power outage.

The 3A AOV control panel, manufactured by Haes, is available in either a single or two-zone version (two-zone expandable to four). The 5A and 10A versions are both two-zone panels, extendable up to four and eight zones, respectively. Each zone should include a conventional smoke detector with a base (we recommend the Apollo 65 Series) and a yellow manual call point. Additionally, the Twin Wire mode allows AV devices to be connected to the detector circuit.

To enhance the capabilities of the control panels, you have the option of adding the input/output card. This card provides support for Rain Sensor and PIR inputs for environmental control and trap injury protection. It also includes 0/10v inputs and outputs, allowing for control interfacing with BMS systems and positional control Act output.
