Suitable for Class A (wood, paper, cloth, etc), Class B (flammable liquids), and Class C (flammable gas) fires, it is also safe to use around live electrical equipment. Plus the 2kg Compact Automatic Extinguisher comes with a fixing bracket which only needs one screw to secure it to the ceiling.

When the temperatures in the room hit a high of 68 degrees Celsius, it causes the bulb in the nozzle to break which then triggers the extinguisher (and don’t worry, it’s hot enough to avoid it going off accidentally). What happens next is that the dry powder inside is released with a discharge time of 10 seconds which will cover an area of 2 square metres.
