Designed to look like the standard stop sign, the alarm will make you aware of when the door is in use.
When the panic bar is pushed with minimum force, a pre-alarm will sound which then turns off once the bar is released. Should the push bar be fully pushed, the alarm resounds as the force caused the red trigger angle to fall. The alarm can only then be reset using the keys which are supplied.
The Smart Shield for Panic Bars can be personalised to meet the individual needs. The alarm can sound at either 75 or 95 decibels, and the alarm can automatically stop sounding after 30 or 180 seconds. Plus it can be powered either by battery or mains connection.
