This outstanding extinguisher comes with an exclusive 10-year warranty and eliminates the need for annual servicing by a dedicated engineer. Instead, a straightforward set of instructions empowers you to personally conduct an annual inspection to ensure everything is in optimal condition.

Tailored for workshops, construction sites, and a range of environments, this versatile 6kg powder fire extinguisher is adept at combatting Class A, B, and C fires. It's also engineered for safe use on electrical equipment, rigorously tested up to 1000V. Boasting an impressive fire rating of 43A 233B C, the self-service P50 extinguisher proudly carries the BSI Kitemark and holds prestigious UKCA, EN3, PED, and MED approvals. Furthermore, it includes a standard wall-mounting bracket for seamless installation.

Manufactured in Great Britain by Britannia, each P50 Fireworld fire extinguisher is virtually indestructible, fashioned from polyethylene and Aramid fibre (Kevlar®). This renders it impervious to corrosion, setting it apart from standard steel extinguishers. This durability enables suitability for both indoor and outdoor use, all while maintaining a lightweight structure. With an impressive 20-year lifespan, it requires a factory refurbishment at the 10-year mark, contributing to waste reduction and being fully recyclable at the end of its service life.

Conducting maintenance on the 6kg Powder P50 Fire Extinguisher is a straightforward process, thanks to clearly outlined instructions on the back. Maintenance can be effortlessly logged using a marker pen, plus there is an app available for Google and Apple devices which you can use to register and log annual maintenance. The extinguisher features a pressure regulation gauge, complemented by a second gauge for added assurance. Additionally, a special magnet is provided to verify the functionality of both gauges.

Suitable for the home, small kitchens and workshops, cars, cars, caravans, boats, truck cabs, and portable buildings.

Types of fire include Class A (wood, paper, cloth, etc), B (flammable liquids), C (flammable gas), and fire involving electrical equipment (tested to 1000V).

Anticipated lifespan with indoor use and proper maintenance - 10 years, with an additional 10 years after factory refurbishment.

Please Note: You should still have your new self-service P50 extinguishers commissioned and installed by an extinguisher technician.

  • Check the extinguisher is within the life expectancy by the colour date stud.
  • Sign the back of the extinguisher with a permanent marker pen.
