500g Micro Automatic Extinguisher – External Fit

Its nozzle ensures complete and immediate fire protection for servers, computer equipment, and electrical cabinets without the need for a power source. The extinguisher becomes active automatically when temperatures rise.

The extinguisher is filled with Fluoroketone (FK-5-1-12), a substance with a zero ozone depletion potential. It works by removing heat from the fire source, making it effective for Class A, B, and C fires, as well as electrical fires. One great advantage is that it leaves no harmful or corrosive residues, ensuring there is no collateral damage, and increasing the chances of recovering valuable data.

You have the option to choose from three nozzle lengths: 50mm, 100mm, and 200mm. The longer nozzle length allows you to protect even those awkward setups. It activates at temperatures of 57°C, thanks to the quartzoid bulk, and protects an area of 0.65 m3.

For easy visual inspection, the extinguisher comes with a pressure gauge that is externally visible on the cabinet. It is supplied with a mounting bracket for secure installation.

This 500g micro automatic fire extinguisher is particularly suitable for micro-environments, including electrical boxes, appliances, and high-value computer equipment. It is safe to use around live electrical equipment. Its anticipated lifespan is 5 years, ensuring long-term protection for your valuable assets. 

Please Note: Commissioning and install will not include our extinguisher technician installing this within electrical equipment or appliances, and commissioning only involves checking the unit is pressurised, so may not be needed. Additionally, due to their specialist nature, expect delivery within 3 to 5 working days.
