Temporary worksites and construction projects are no reason to skimp on security and adaptability. Showing site boundaries, managing queues, restricting unauthorised access, and marking out hazardous areas will require fencing solutions that are highly flexible, easy to secure, and reliable in whatever conditions you might face. Our range of Barrier Fencing and Pins will fulfil these needs with ease, containing both the fencings and the fixings you’ll need to make the magic happen.

We keep things simple when it comes to securing these. Our main offer on this front is our steel fencing pins. These are perfect for most of our fencing options, while some are more suited to being placed over any kind of pre-existing fencing to enhance its visibility, or may even require the use of traffic cones instead of pins, depending on the location.

We supply a variety of barrier styles however, from mesh fencing to plastic barrier chains and even reflective strips for aiding the visibility of less obvious fencing. All of these options are designed to be flexible, durable, and highly visible, making them perfect for marking out boundaries of any size and shape in a way that is unmissable and able tp handle a range of harsh conditions.

Whatever you need, we have it, with unbeatable prices and next day delivery no less.

Matching the fencing to the fixing

Most of our barrier fencing solutions can be secured in place with our steel fencing pins. These are highly durable and can be easily hammered into the ground for quick and simple installation. They are the perfect accompaniment to mesh or chain fencing, but are still entirely fit for being used with high-visibility tape or other options.

Tapes and reflective strip-style barriers are more suited to taller, wider fencing that is already in place and would benefit from a visibility upgrade. This is why you may often see grey or black metal fences with striped tape wrapped around them. We also have ranging line, which is useful for marking out straight line boundaries. It is popular to secure ranging line with ground pegs, but our steel fencing pins will do just fine.

I’m not sure if you have the length of fencing I need?

We do, actually! If you take a look at our netted barrier fencing, plastic barrier chains and barrier tape, it may appear that we have a limited selection of length options. And maybe we do, and maybe you could end up using the full length, or need more than what we’re offering. But that’s all fine, seeing as most of our fencing solutions can be easily cut down to the length you need, and in most cases can also be easily joined together to form greater lengths.

Then take the plastic chain fencing, it’s extremely easy to connect to form larger fencing as part of our Post & Chain Barrier Kits. And then take the netted fencing as example again. It can be cut with standard scissors, and even then, if the excess length isn’t too much, you may be able to account for it by simply wrapping it around the fencing pins.

So don’t worry if our length options aren’t obviously suitable. These are standard measurements, and our barrier fencing is designed specifically with this kind of flexibility in mind.

What if fencing pins won’t work?

It is a possibility, and one that is most likely to be a problem due to a lack of ground nearby soft enough to hammer them into. But don’t worry! Many of our barrier fencing options do not rely on steel fencing pins to be installed. Our reflective fence strips and barrier tape, for example. The former comes with built in eyelets and is supplied with cable ties. So as long as you have something you can tie them to, you’re good to go. And then the tape can simply be stretched out across a given gap and then fixed to the now joined surfaces with an adhesive to form the barrier you need.

Some of these options may require something other than fencing pins to be deployed; this might not even be because of the ground you’re working with. Traffic cones are a suitable alternative in many of these cases, as well as ground pegs for the ranging line of course. These alternatives are, however, unsuitable for some of the items under Barrier Fencing and Pins. The netted fencing for example, needs steel fencing pins or something similar to be set up correctly.
