Supplied on rolls of 5 meters and available in white and brown, they feature an intumescent strip which expands when exposed to intense heat and a brush to prevent smoke from spreading. With a 30-minute fire rating, they are independently tested to British Standard 476-22:1987 and are commonly used in schools, offices, shops, rented properties, and other public buildings.

Ensure you have a 3mm gap between the door and frame to ensure the surface-mounted fire and smoke seal will fit. When it comes to installation, start from the bottom, peeling off the protective film, and position it up against the frame stop.
