Suitable to slow cars to approximately 10mph, it’s perfect for light car traffic use in car parks and private roads, including schools, hotels, hospitals, construction sites, factories and anywhere speeding could occur and cause accidents.

In highly visible yellow and black, the mid-sections feature cats eye night reflectors for increased visibility, day or night. Made from heavy-duty PVC with a chequered pattern to provide additional grip even in poor weather conditions, these are perfect for concrete and tarmac road surfaces with a load capacity of 20 tonnes.

Speed Bump 10mph – Kit Contents

The kit contains an even number of black and yellow mid-sections, each measuring 500mm in length with four pre-drilled holes. You will also get a black and yellow end cap, measuring 170mm in length with two pre-drilled holes, which allows for an alternating black/yellow pattern from end-to-end. The speed ramp is 50mm tall and has a width of 350mm.

The M10 shield anchor bolts are designed for load-bearing, heavy-duty applications. The kit contains the correct amount you’ll need to completely fasten the whole speed bump, 100mm in length. To install, start by marking the position of bolts, then drill the required holes and the correct size. Then insert the fixing and secure the speed bump in place.

Where To Install Your Speed Bump

Speed bumps (sometimes also called sleeping policemen, speed humps and speed ramps) need to be installed straight across the road and away from junctions. Vehicles turning on a speed bump can make the driver and passenger uncomfortable and damage the bumps over time.

Usually installed in areas where vehicles and pedestrians mix, speed bumps work best when positioned at entrances or near zebra crossings and are an ideal speed deterrent for low-speed zones.
