Using its single standard UK 2.5" instantaneous outlet, you can securely connect the layflat fire hose to it. You’ll need a fire hydrant key in order to switch the flow of water on or off.

The fire hydrant standpipe itself is made from high quality aluminium alloy and stands at 932mm tall. It can connect to a 2.5 inch BSRT outlet on the hydrant using Urban Round Thread (URT) and is only suitable for use during a fire. Manufactured for Vigil Products, it comes supplied with a blank plug and chain to protect outlets from dust and rubbish.

The check valve included is water company approved. It helpfully stops water from running back through the standpipe once it has passed through.
