The X-Sense smoke alarm conforms to EN 14604:2005, is UKCA approved, CE marked and BSi Kitemarked, giving you peace of mind that you and your family are well protected. Measuring 78mm wide and 48mm deep, the design is modern and compact, fitted with mesh protection which prevents spiders and small insects from getting inside and potentially causing false alarms. Additionally, the optical smoke detector is engineered to be less sensitive to steam, further enhancing its reliability.

Fitted with a red LED indicator on the side, which flashes when activated, the alarm is easy to control using this button for testing and silencing the alarm. Sealed with a lithium battery which cannot be removed, removes the need to change batteries and gives you the reliability that the alarm will only need to be replaced at the end of its 10-year life.

Installation is made simple by just mounting the plate using the anchor plugs and screws provided, and then placing the alarm on and twisting to secure it. For optimal detection, we’d recommend choosing a central position on your ceiling, ideally in a spot which isn’t obstructed by lights and beams.
