Medium Expansion Foam Branchpipe

With a maximum throw range of 12 metres, it has a flow rate of 480 litres per minute and operates at a working pressure of 6 bar. It is compatible with all types of foam concentrate, allowing you to effectively combat Class B fires due to its foam expansion ratio of 70:1.

Despite being light in weight, this branchpipe boasts a sturdy construction. It features handles on each side, ensuring easy grip and manoeuvrability with a pressure gauge for visual checks too. The flow can be conveniently controlled using a lever-operated mechanism to turn it on and off as needed. The inlet is manufactured to meet BS336 standards and is suitable for equipment designed for standard 2.5-inch (64mm) diameter layflat hoses. It is fully compatible with our variable in-line foam inductor.

Designed with corrosion resistance in mind and offering easy repair and servicing, the body of the branchpipe is constructed using hard-anodised aluminium and stainless steel. The handle is made of injection-moulded nylon, while the valve is manufactured from aluminium by Vigil Products. The medium expansion foam branchpipe is suitable for a wide range of applications, including industrial and marine environments.
