You can interconnect a series of smoke and heat alarms without the hassle of cabling or unsightly mini-trunking (note - must be the new SFWR Slick range and not the SF23 range). Just quickly connect the rechargeable base into a local lighting circuit with the screwless terminal blocks and then slot a smoke or heat alarm onto the base. It can interconnect 15 alarms wirelessly in a series and has red and green LEDs to show the power condition.
A wireless unit can also be mixed with hard-wired Slick and Kidde Firex alarms so is useful for extending an existing circuit or for places where cabling is too difficult to access. They also work well in historic or listed buildings.
Please note that a wireless base is needed for each alarm that you wish to link wirelessly
