Free 90 Day ReturnsOn one end, there is a 2½” female thread compatible with BSP fittings, and on the other, a 2½” female instantaneous connection that fits standard BS336-type hoses commonly used by UK fire brigades, such as Type 2 and Type 3.
Equipped with a blank plug and chain to keep the hose free from dirt and debris when not in use, the instantaneous adapter features a spring-loaded plunger mechanism, activated by a turn handle, to ensure a secure connection even under pressure. Manufactured from lightweight alloy for Vigil Products in compliance with BS 336 standards and with a maximum working pressure of 16 bar, this fire hose adapter is utilized by fire brigades and in industrial settings to connect hoses, hydrants, fire engine pumps, and other equipment.
