After installation, the ceiling valve is effectively protected, yet air flow is kept following approved document B of the building regulations. If a fire occurs, the fire-rated ceiling air valve automatically seals itself. The spread of fire via the protected air valve is prevented. Tested to BS EN 1365-2 for up to 60 minutes of fire exposure. Installation is identical to a standard air valve. Suitable for retrofit scenarios.
