EN 1866 and MED approved for marine use, this is a stored pressure version that can be maintained and refilled by any service company (image shown is 50kg cartridge version). You need to install the 20mm Red Gland 10 pack where your fire rated cable is going through a panel or enclosure. Designed for cable diameters of between 6mm and 12mm, this will maintain the fire resistance. Comes with locknut and meets British Standards.

The 25kg powder fire extinguisher contains ABC powder that covers virtually any type of fire and is safe to use around live electrical equipment. Also, being powder, this can be stored outdoors in temperatures down to -30°C unlike a foam version that would freeze. It comes filled and ready for use and only needs one person to operate.

As well as other approvals, it carries the MED Ship's Wheel mark so can be used for shipping or for offshore oilfields.
