Why use Ramps Over Mats?

Interiors are often better serviced by mats, as they maintain a low profile and are less likely to impede the position of furniture. But, if you’re outfitting an exterior, especially one with heavy-duty work going on, solid ramps provide some valuable advantages. Perhaps the biggest is keeping the form of the cable or hose. This is particularly valuable with hoses, as they can easily be deformed by vehicles rolling over them; though these instances can just as easily damage the insides of your cables as well.

The ramps are also suited to being used, or at least doubling as speed bumps. This is mainly the case for our heavy-duty options, which will effectively reduce the speed of oncoming vehicles down to 5mph, making them suitable for use in work with heavy vehicles.
