The X Alert anti-theft fire extinguisher alarm with wall bracket is designed to deter the theft and misuse of fire extinguishers while doubling as an effective wall-mounting method. Suitable for any type of extinguisher up to 9kg or 9 litres with interchangeable brackets, it works like a backboard to help spread the weight on plasterboard and stud walls.

The alarm works by activating whenever the fire extinguisher is lifted off the bracket. With an integrated 100dB alarm and 12 bright LEDs, it won’t go unnoticed by those in the area where a fire extinguisher has been removed. All powered by a 9V PP3 battery (supplied as standard), it consumes no power when in standby mode to ensure a long working life and will continuously alarm for up to 6 hours after the extinguisher has been removed (or until replaced or silenced).
Manufactured in the UK with a durable ABS and polycarbonate construction, the fire extinguisher anti-theft alarm is available in red or white and comes with a Velcro strap designed to go around the extinguisher for a further deterrent. And don’t worry, thanks to the master key switch, it’s easy to silence the alarm while your extinguisher is being serviced.
Please Note: The extinguisher stopper alarm is not suitable for 5kg CO2 fire extinguishers.
