Fire doors reduce the spread of fire to prevent damage and risk to life, but will only work when shut. This ensures that the fire door is closed as soon as the fire alarm is activated, using wireless acoustic technology.

Learning the sound of your specific alarm to reduce unnecessary door closures, the magnetic door holder complies with EN1155 and is CE marked. This ensures it is suitable for use in hospitals and care homes, for use on doors of up to 100kg and 1250mm wide.

Powered by two C-type batteries, it features a manual override button, and an LED display, and can be programmed to release the door at a set time every day, which is perfect for making sure doors are shut overnight. Easy and quick to install on a new or existing door, the acoustic door holder has one part which fits an adjacent wall or bracket, while the magnet plate fits the door.

Available in a range of colours, this should be used with suitable door closure.
