9 litre Water Fire Extinguisher for Lithium Batteries

Cartridge-operated, the 9-litre water fire extinguisher contains a water additive that works with a special misting nozzle to cool the flames and the battery, preventing thermal runaway. This fluorine-free extinguisher has passed suitability testing for lithium-ion batteries, boasts a fire rating of 27A, and is both CE Marked and BS EN3 Kitemarked.

To operate the 9-litre water fire extinguisher for lithium batteries, first, remove the safety pin, strike the top knob with your fist, and aim the extinguishing lance at the base of the flames using the pistol grip. The lance allows you to stand 4 meters away from the fire and offers a discharge time of up to 80 seconds.

This extinguisher is suitable for factories, warehouses, rental facilities, and shops with large quantities of smaller portable devices or larger battery-powered devices such as e-bikes, e-scooters, and drones.

It is effective on Class A fires (wood, paper, cloth, etc.) and lithium-ion battery fires up to 1285Wh, including 700Wh pouches. Additionally, it is safe if accidentally sprayed on electrical equipment up to 1000V.

With proper indoor use and maintenance, the extinguisher has an anticipated lifespan of 10 years.
